MountainView Media (“MountainView,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit https://mountainviewmedia.com, book a strategy session, become a client, or otherwise interact with our websites and services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Policy applies to visitors, prospects, and business clients. It does not apply to homeowners whose information we process on behalf of clients as part of marketing services — in those cases, we act as a service provider to the contractor and process data under their direction, subject to applicable agreements.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide

- Booking information: appointment selections, notes, and communications when you schedule a strategy session;
- Client onboarding: licensing, capacity, pricing, territories, creative assets, and CRM or calendar integration details;
- Payment information: billing contact and transaction records (payment cards are processed by third-party payment processors — we do not store full card numbers on our servers);
- Communications: emails, texts, call notes, and support requests.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP;
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 5;
- Advertising and analytics data: event data such as page views, button clicks, and conversions sent to analytics and ad partners when enabled (e.g., Meta Pixel and Conversions API).
1.3 Information from third parties
We may receive information from scheduling platforms (such as Go High Level), advertising platforms (such as Meta), payment processors, and publicly available business sources to verify or supplement records.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services;
- Schedule and conduct strategy sessions and client onboarding;

3. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK visitors)
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process personal information based on: (a) contract performance; (b) legitimate interests (e.g., analytics, security, B2B marketing); (c) consent where required (e.g., non-essential cookies); and (d) legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We may share personal information with:
- Service providers who assist with hosting, analytics, scheduling, CRM, email, telephony, payment processing, and customer support (e.g., Vercel, Go High Level, Meta);
- Professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and insurers under confidentiality obligations;
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale;
- Legal and safety when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and security; and

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share data for targeted advertising as defined under certain U.S. state privacy laws — see Section 9.
5. Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, and local storage to:
- Remember preferences and maintain sessions;
- Understand how visitors use the Services;
- Measure ad performance and attribute conversions; and
- Deliver and optimize advertising on third-party platforms.
5.1 Meta (Facebook) technologies
When enabled, we use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to send event data (such as page views, leads, and scheduled appointments) to Meta. Meta may use this data according to its own policies. Learn more at Meta Privacy Policy. You can manage ad preferences through your Meta account settings.
5.2 Your choices
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may affect site functionality. Where required, we will present a cookie consent mechanism before loading non-essential trackers.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information as long as needed to provide the Services, fulfill contractual and billing obligations (including Booked Job records), resolve disputes, comply with law, and enforce agreements. Typical retention periods:
- Client and billing records: duration of relationship plus 7 years;
- Website logs and analytics: up to 26 months unless longer required;
- Marketing opt-out requests: maintained indefinitely to honor preferences.
7. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
